Amongst other things, I’m keen on cycling, biking and traveling.
That’s a picture of my, riding from Oslo in Norway to Hamburg in Germany in Summer 2006. It took me 12 days to travel the 1’200km on my own. It was one of these summers, where the sun never disappeared, wonderful!
I converted my old mountain bike (a 1995 GT single tube carbon frame) into a tour bike.
For my luggage I had a trailer named B.O.B. (see picture below)
That single wheel system works perfect and is much easier to travel with than bags. As long as you are cycling through a flat country, though. And that’s something I did a lot during my 3 years living in Amsterdam NL.
I had my tent and a small kitchen set with me, which was ideal with that sort of weather.
Nevertheless I spent a few nights in hotels and stayed with a friend in Hamburg before I took the train back home to Zurich.
